GlobalConnect Announces Services Manager Appointment

Sameer Chhatre to Strengthen Company’s Focus on Customer Service Experience

December 2007, Sydney - GlobalConnect Australia, a leading convergence and contact centre solutions provider and Avaya Gold BusinessPartner, today announced the appointment of Sameer Chhatre as Services Manager based in Sydney.

In this newly created role, Chhatre will be responsible for managing GlobalConnect’s services operations and for building and implementing a service strategy to strengthen the company’s customer service offering in Application and Professional Services, Maintenance, Implementation and Project Management.

Chhatre is a professional business systems specialist and joins GlobalConnect with more than ten years of experience working in the telecommunications, technology, and financial services sectors. During this time, he has worked for leading voice, convergence , mobility and contact centre specialist organisations including Telstra Business Systems, Touchbase, Servion and Tata Telecom.

Prior to joining GlobalConnect, Chhatre was Implementation Manager at Telstra Business Systems where he was responsible for the organisation’s engineering team in its deployment of voice solutions throughout New South Wales, ACT and Queensland. His key achievements included increasing customer satisfaction, improving project delivery timeframes and assisting with project planning.
