Amitabh worked as Head of IT Operations within a New York-based Business Process Outsourcing company, responsible for setting up complex IT infrastructure (data, voice, telecoms and systems). He managed client relationships and 24x7 IT operations, across three time-zones, United Kingdom, United States and India. Amitabh was also responsible for setting up ITIL framework within services, business continuity planning and BS7799 Information security compliance.
Managing the Services for top tier organisations such as Bank of America, Dell, Deloitte, Norwich Union, Pepsi and GE Capital, Amitabh brings to GlobalConnect a wealth of experience across Voice, Data, Telecom and complex applications integration.

At one world famous customer site, we ensured a seamless deployment of a complex network in a stringent time-frame. Afterwards the CEO thanked us, acknowledging that there was potential for in excess of 7000 people to be affected, if we hadn’t deployed the solution successfully within the requested time. He knew that because of the time and research we had put into the planning phases, the deployment had no impact on his organisational efficiency or costs.” Amitabh said.
With experience in end-user and vendor organisations, Amitabh has the unique ability of understanding the drivers for end-customer, vendor and integrator environments.
