Mobility - What is Mobility?

For the enterprise, mobility is a term that is commonly used to describe an IP-centric environment, where network barriers that commonly hinder access between people, devices, applications and platforms are removed.

A truly mobile enterprise has a work force, whether in the office, around the campus or in the field, that is continuously productive and connected to front office and back office systems, regardless of location or proximity to systems, servers, clients, customers and colleagues.
