People Profile - Chris Rockell, Client Engagement Manager
With this being a new role for GlobalConnect, I see myself as bringing in the years of industry experience I have to drive and shape the services offerings GlobalConnect delivers to customers. A large part of that is developing an intimate understanding of the customer’s business – where they’ve come from, what they’re doing at the moment and their business objectives for the future – to offer a bespoke service that supports the customer to achieve its business strategy now and in the longer term. Having worked in telecommunications my whole career, and focusing on the services side of the industry with project management for the past decade across Asia Pacific, I’ve seen the benefits of well-aligned services. Our Account Directors here at GlobalConnect are well developed at understanding the industry and organisational dynamics at play for our customers. The value I bring to the customer is to really hone in what the solution can add to the business by specifically focusing on the services they engage. The key to adding that value is being involved with customer from the earliest possible moment, but it’s never too late to find opportunities for the customer to uncover revenue potential in their network with the support of GlobalConnect services. Time after time, I’ve delivered benefits to customers because we have engaged with their business units on their information technology and telecommunications strategy and designed a solution that is specific to their business needs.
